Daleth

The numerical value of Daleth is 4.

Daleth means "door"

According to the Sepher Yetzirah, its correspondences are:

Right nostril

Daleth represents the four-fold stability that permeates the Universe when "kindness" becomes a reality (see Path03). It also represents the four rivers that flowed out of Eden prior to mankind's fall (Gen. 2:10). These four rivers are symbolic of G-d's essence flowing in to the created universe.

It represents a form of fertility, the four rivers irrigating the countryside, "kindness" resulting in the fertility of the world and its ability to give us food.

The Hebrew word means "mother". When it is fertilised by we get (meaning "man" in the sense of "mankind").
