Shin

The numerical value of Shin is 300.

Shin means "tooth"

According to the Sepher Yetzirah, its correspondences are:

Element

Time

Body

Fire

Summer

Head

Shin is one of the three Mother letters, connecting Chokmah and Binah. It is representative of externalised action and forms part of the prelude to the Sepher Yetzirah meditation.

It is also the perfection of all motion (gimel-lamed-shin). This is the motion performed by the who has achieved acting as the perfected container (resh).
