Tiphareth

The God name for Tiphareth is YHVH.

Tiphareth, meaning "beauty", is born out of the masculine-feminine interplay between Chesed and Geburah.

just as Daath is greater than the combined sum of Chokmah and Binah, so Tiphareth is greater than the sum of Chesed and Geburah.

Tiphareth occupies the mid-point of the Tree of Life. It is the point of balance. it is a point of dynamic harmony. The greatest works of art, in any field, exhibit this dynamic harmony. Music is a prime example; it is the harmonious movement from one note to the next that we perceive as beauty.

It is in Tiphareth that we can achieve the dynamic harmony that is needed between the physical and spiritual. If we truly experience Tiphareth then we have balanced these two seemingly antagonistic forces.

But a dynamic harmony contains within it a potential problem. To maintain the harmony we have to be dynamic, we have to move. We cannot be static. Because we are human our striving to keep this balance will sometimes cause it to tilt one way or the other.

But the more we practice the better at it we become. Even a momentary experience of Tiphareth will strengthen us for the next attempt.

Tiphareth balances all our spiritual powers: intellect and emotion; the spiritual and the physical; obligations to other people and obligations to G-d.

Tiphareth also balances the past and the future. Therefore it is the true present. It is what and where we truly are. Find this point and you will be truly balanced.
